How do I use my Smart Health Card at a hospital?

Simply present your Smart Health Card at the admissions desk of any Globily-approved provider. The hospital will verify your coverage in real time and bill us directly. For planned procedures, we recommend calling our 24/7 support line in advance to pre-authorise treatment.

What if I need treatment at a non-network hospital?

If you receive treatment at a facility outside our approved network — for example in an emergency — you can submit a reimbursement claim within 90 days. Reimbursement is subject to your plan's benefit limits and any applicable deductible or co-payment.

Use the Provider Finder on our website or app to search by location, specialty, or facility name. The directory is updated in real time and covers 200+ approved hospitals and clinics across 25+ countries.

Do I need to submit a claim when using the Smart Health Card?

No. When you use your Smart Health Card at an approved network provider, the claim is handled automatically between the hospital and Globily. You only need to submit a manual claim if you receive treatment at a non-network facility or pay out of pocket.

Who is eligible for a Globily plan?

Globily plans are available to expatriates, international workers, NGO and humanitarian aid workers, digital nomads, and long-term international travellers aged 18–74. Family plans are available for members with dependants. Corporate and group plans are available for organisations with two or more employees.

Can I add family members to my plan?

Yes. You can add a spouse or partner and dependent children under 18 (or under 25 if in full-time education) to your plan during enrolment or at renewal. Each family member will receive their own Smart Health Card.
